Whose Words Do You Believe?

Take one moment to reflect and respond honestly to the following question: How would your life be different if you did not entertain the negative opinions of others? Hopefully, your life may look drastically different, filled with greater confidence and freedom.
God wisely foresees this problem with humanity, offering believers tactical advice on overcoming negative opinions and stating the consequences if we listen to others. Proverbs 29:25 (GNT) declares, "It is dangerous to be concerned with what other people think of you, but if you trust in the Lord, you are safe."
No matter what you do, right or wrong, it will warrant unsolicited advice from others. However, giving more consideration to the opinions of others rather than God's opinion may lead to some of us being disabled, stifling our growth and keeping us from pursuing our purpose in life, which is opposite to God's original intentions for our lives.
If you struggle with destructive opinions, I encourage you to adhere to what God declares about you and build confidence in His Word, power, and strength. This identity in Him will fortify your faith, protect your heart, and break the chains of fear to go after the abundant life you deserve.
