Are you or someone you love stuck? Do you find yourself doing the same thing over and over, even though the results are saying loud and clear that this is not working? Perhaps you have told yourself you can stop anytime, but you cant. Maybe you feel like Paul the apostle who said in Romans 7:19 “when I want to do good, I don’t. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway!” The good news is that when you finally admit that you cannot do this alone, you are on step one of a journey towards freedom. Change always has to stop by acknowledging where you are stuck. The only way to get somewhere else is to first acknowledge where you are!
One of the hardest addictions to break is sexual addiction. Two of our Bridge of Hope Counselors specialize in helping with this. One of them, Reid Wood, has an article that may help you understand better what it looks like to face and work through this addiction. Many of the principles he shares also apply to other addictions as well. Check out this link and know that there is hope beyond what you are now feeling to get beyond where you are now living! If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to call the number listen on this website. http://www.reidwoodtherapy.com/
