Love Daily

I am truly thankful as I have said many times before for being a part of the Bridge of Hope team and part of First Baptist Church of Lexington. I feel nothing but love here. I have never been within an establishment where my ethnicity was not placed into a category to allow judgement, assumptions, and negativity. I truly wish the world would embrace this approach to life and LOVE daily. We all are going through some tough times with adjusting and adapting.  It is God's will for us to help others and to be there for others in times of need. When hate, anger, and conflict come into the picture it generally will start an ongoing cycle that is generally not interrupted.  I truly admire King David for practicing this love for his enemy when he knew that Saul was on his trail with nothing but intentions to harm him. I would rather LOVE others than to practice hate or evil intentions towards them.

I have HOPE that love will continue to grow within the heart of those that choose hate instead of love. We can make the change but we have to have a starting point even if it's just one person or family member.  Hate has led to so many wars, deaths, crimes, and discord. Love is easier with better results of PEACE and SALVATION.  I will continue to pray for peace and love for the world because my faith in the FATHER and his SON. I will continue to do my best to share this LOVE with others.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not DISHONOR others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily ANGERED, it keeps no record of wrongs, LOVE does not delight in EVIL but rejoices with the TRUTH. It always protects, always trusts, always HOPES, always PERSEVERES.
