Thoughts of Hope

How is your health doing? Yep, most of us think of the latest virus, a difficult diagnosis, or the shape of our body when asked about our health. This month is Mental Health Awareness month. Maybe it is a good time to consider how you are doing mentally.

Are you feeling unmotivated? Discouraged? Anxious? Irritated? Annoyed? Irate? Depressed? Maybe you have a diagnosis of a mental illness, but perhaps you don’t. We all have periods where we are “not in shape” or hit with a “virus” that needs addressing. If so, it may be time to get a check-up, examine the symptoms, and develop a recovery plan.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help. There is something wrong with acting like everything is fine while you aren’t and making everyone else around you suffer from what you are not addressing. Help is available, and we care about your mental health!
