Three Ways to Look at the Bible as a Book

1. We can look at the book The Holy Bible as instructions for living life on Earth.  B.I.B.L.E. Basic instructions before leaving Earth. Even if an individual is not a believer, it is difficult to deny that there is a lot of wisdom contained in the pages of the book that we call The Bible.

2. We can look at The Bible as a love story between God and his people, all the things he has done to show his love for us.  This would include creating this universe, this planet, and all animals, plants, and human beings. He also came to live among us as human beings and then sacrificed himself for us.

3. We could look at The Bible in terms of relationships. The Bible shows what relationships are and what they should be. Of course, the most important relationship is between the individual and God. In reality, that is the only relationship that truly matters. All these other relationships ( being fathers, sons, neighbors, spouses, employers, employees, et cetera) are just practice.
