CTR- ALT- DELETE

I think that we all can agree with this sign. 2020 has been a year like none other and I probably am not alone with I say it is in serious need of a CTRL-ALT-DEL. The other day I was talking to someone who said they believed God had turned His back on America and removed His hand from us because of the nation we have become. Maybe so, but for those of us who trust in Him, we are His children, He still loves us and He is still in control. There are many passages in the Bible about God returning and doing a great work when His people turn back to Him. One of the most familiar passages about this is in 2 Chronicles 7:14 "if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will hear their land". I had a friend suggest reading Joel. I highly recommend it to you as well, it is only 3 chapters. In this book, Judah has been destroyed by locusts, but if God's people repent, He promises blessings, a refuge, and a stronghold for His people. I don't know about you, but I am ready for God to do an ultimate CTRL-ALT-DEL and show His glory like we have never seen it before. "See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:19). Please join me in focusing our attention on God, praying for our nation and each other, and waiting expectantly for what God is going to do!
